
Mandaluyong mayor gets Sinovac jab
MANDALUYONG City Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos was inoculated with China-made Sinovac against COVID-19 on Monday afternoon.
Presidente Rodrigo Duterte and Inter –Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) allowed local chief executives of high risk-areas to get vaccinated.
The local government of Mandaluyong resumed on Monday the vaccination program of city.
City’s health care workers, adults with comorbidities, and senior citizens were also vaccinated against the disease at Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School.
The Mandaluyong City has four vaccinations sites , namely: Isaac Lopez Integrated School, Hulo Integrated School, Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School and Andres Bonifacio Integrated School.
Under the government’s prioritization list, the vaccination rollout in the country will start with Health Care Workers, followed by indigent senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, remaining senior citizens, remaining indigent population, and uniformed personnel.
