Man with gunshot wounds found in abandoned car
AUTHORITIES are conducting an in-depth investigation into the discovery on Tuesday of a dead man inside an abandoned car in Calaca, Batangas.
The victim, aged 30-45 and wearing green t-shirt and maong pants, had multiple bullet wounds.
He was found at the back seat of a Mitsubishi Mirage vehicle without plate number and parked at Sitio Balok-Balok, Bgy. Cahil in Calaca town at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The car’s engine was still on.
Village residents immediately called the police.
Responding lawmen found at the crime scene 12 cartridges from cal. 9mm, two live ammunition for the same gun and a slug.
Police are studying the CCTV footages in the area for possible identification of the suspects.
