Man with arrest warrant for acts of lasciviousness surrenders

CABANATUAN CITY — A 44-year-old man who learned that he has a standing arrest warrant for two counts of acts of lasciviousness issued by a local court surrendered voluntarily to authorities on Wednesday morning in this city.

Nueva Ecija police provincial information chief Capt. Franklin D. Sindac said the suspect, a resident of 18th St.,, Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, Phase 2, Bgy. San Jose Sur, this city gave himself up to warrant operatives of the city police at 9:50 a.m. on Wedsnesday.

It was learned that the arrest warrant was issued against the suspect by the Cabanatuan City Municipal Trial Court on November 17, 2023, with a recommended bail set at P72,000 for his temporary liberty.

Sindac said the suspect surrendered a day after the city police station received his arrest warrant.

The arrested suspect is now locked up in detention for proper disposition.
