Man gunned down in Batangas
MOTORCYCLE-RIDING assassins on Tuesday shot dead a man in Bgy. San Fernando, Malvar, Batangas.
Malvar Municipal Police Station chief Maj. Jonathan S. Amutan identified the victim as Clarence Sualog.
One of the suspects, Onisemo Samson Bernil Jr., was arrested during pursuit operation.
Personnel of the Malvar Municipal Police Station were patrolling the village when they heard two gunshots near a gasoline station.
Officers immediately checked and saw two men boarding a motorcycle and fled towards Bgy. Luta Norte.
Cops put out a chase and was able to arrest Bernil while his cohort was able to escape.
An investigation is ongoing.
