THE city government conducted a motorcade around different streets and offered pampering services to the women in the city on Tuesday afternoon to show support and celebrate the contributions of women in the continuous development of Malabon.
Around 229 personnel from different city departments, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penalogy, tricycle drivers, organizations, groups of women and persons with disabilities gathered along C4 Road to join the Motorkada: Kakababaihan, Arangkada! motorcade which started in front of Longos Elementary School.
The activity dubbed “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” aims to amplify the strength, resilience, and contributions of women in shaping the country and reaffirm the city’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment across all sectors of society.
Happy Women’s Month!,” Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.
