LPG prices rolled back

CONSUMERS can heave a sigh of relief following the rollback of prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) effective Saturday.

Major oil firm Petron Corporation implemented a price rollback of P3.20 per kilogram of LPG, inclusive of VAT, which is equivalent to P35.20 centavos for every 11 kilograms of cooking gas tank while auto LPG at P1.80 per liter effective at 12:01 a.m. on May 1, Saturday.

Solane branded LPG also cut the prices of its products by P2.84 per kilogram, exclusive of VAT, at 6 a.m. Saturday.

Independent oil firms Phoenix LPG Philippines Inc. also rollback its Super LPG at P3.20 per kilogram and P1.80 per liter of its Auto LPG which took effect at 12:01 a.m. on May 1.

Energy sources said the rollback of prices reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of May.
