Lolo beggar found dying, with stab wounds on Batangas road
THE body of a 68-year-old beggar with stab wounds was found lying on the road at Sitio Bigaa, Bgy. Lucsuhin, Calatagan, Batangas the other day.
Calatagan Municipal Police Station Chief Maj. Serafin T. Capunuan identified the victim as Rodrigo Lumbao, with live-in partner, of Sitio Bigaa, Bgy. Lucsuhin, Calatagan.
Calatagan town police received a mobile phone call from Bgy. Lucsuhin Chairman Roberto R. Zapatero, around 6:20 a.m. and reported that the victim was found in the said area.
Case officers PSSg. Samuel C. Riva and PCpl. Francisco A. Vergara bared that one Raymon Panaligan was driving his motorcycle going to work when he spotted the bloodied victim along the road at about 5:30 a.m.
Panaligan reported the incident to barangay officials and was quickly brought to Calatagan Medicare Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Butiong.
The victim’s remains lie at Funeral Homes and Services, Nasugbu town, for autopsy. By Jojo Cesar Magsombol
