Lightning kills woman, hurts 2 children in Iloilo
A LIGHTNING strike killed a 43-year-old mother and injured her two minor children in Iloilo.
Police identified the fatality as Angelie Complisa, of Sitio Caban-caban, Bgy. Cag-an, Anilao, Iloilo.
Her children, Chris John, 17; and Angelica Joy, 13, sustained minor injuries.
In a report to Anilao police chief Lt. Jersey Besas showed the incident happened during heavy downpour.
The mother was trying to cover their television when a lightning suddenly struck and she got electrocuted.
Angelie was brought to the hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
