IKINALUNGKOT ng FIlipino-actress na si Lara Quigaman ang balitang nakikita niya sa socmed, ito’y matapos kumalat ang mga litrato ng mga batang biktima ng giyera sa alitan ng bansang Israel at sa mga Hamas.

Sa kanyang IG post, Nobyembre 9, ikinuwento nito na ang kanyang realization tungkol sa girian.

Aniya, “The other day, the boys were playing hide and seek in the closet. My mind was suddenly flooded with images of children hiding in fear from terrorists and children dying under bombed buildings & I just had to talk to them at that moment. I told them how some children had to hide in their closets for hours so the terrorists wouldn’t find them. I told them about the children I saw in the news who were kidnapped, killed and those who are suffering because of the war.”

Dagdag pa ng “Aswang” star, sinabihan niya ang kanyang mga anak na maging grateful sa buhay dahil ligtas itong nakakapaglaro. Hinikayat pa ng aktres ang kanyang anak na mag-alay ng dasal para sa kaayusan ng nasabing bansa.

Aniya, “And I reminded them to be grateful because they are safe, happy & can play when they want to but that they should also remember to pray for those children and families…”

Dagdag pa ni Lara, “I wanted to share this as my heart is filled with heaviness looking through my feed with news of war and people who are not in the war but are battling with other people who disagree with them. I know I am just one person and that we all have different views regarding what is happening in the world now, but I pray that through this post, somehow God will touch our hearts, take away our anger & hate & replace it with compassion & understanding for all people involved…”
