SENATOR Lito Lapid surged to third place in the most recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey for the May 2025 senatorial elections, securing 34% of voter support.

Lapid now ranks behind Senator Bong Go and Senator Erwin Tulfo, who hold the first and second spots, respectively. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters between April 11 to 15, 2025.

Expressing gratitude during a visit to Agoo, La Union, Lapid thanked both God and the public.

“Natutuwa ako at nagpapasalamat unang-una sa ating mahal na Panginoon at sa ating mga kababayan sa buong bansa na patuloy ang suporta at pagmamahal nila sa akin,” he said, adding that he will reciprocate with honest and dedicated service, especially to the poor.

Lapid emphasized his continued legislative focus on food security, tourism and employment, education, healthcare, and senior citizen welfare.

The senator made a notable leap from the 11th spot in the December 2024 survey and has consistently stayed within ranks 3 to 5 since January 2025. He continues touring Northern Luzon to engage with constituents in anticipation of a potential fourth term in the Senate.
