Lakas-CMD thanks VP Sara
Cites great contributions, reforms for PH
THE Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) on Friday thanked Vice President Sara Duterte for all her great contributions not only to the party but also to bringing significant reforms to the country.
This was stressed by Agusan del Norte Representative Jose “Joboy” S. Aquino II, Lakas-CMD Secretary General after Duterte resigned as a member of the Lakas-CMD party.
“We thank Vice President Sara Duterte for the services she rendered to our party, the Lakas-CMD, as Party Chair, and for helping us build a Unity Team aimed at bringing meaningful change to Philippine society,” Aquino said.
“As we respect her decision, we understand her reason for leaving the political party,” Aquino said.
At the same time, Aquino appealed to all political leaders to continue supporting President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr.
“We also support her call for all political leaders to unite in support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., and for all of us to work for the success of this administration for the benefit of our people,” Aquino said.
“We continue to believe in our shared vision that only a (united country) can lift the Filipino people out of poverty and ensure a better future for generations to come,” Aquino added.
