CAUAYAN CITY, ISABELA — Partido Reporma standard bearer Panfilo “Ping” Lacson said intelligence reports reaching the Office of the President could not be belittled since these are A1 information that were screened in different levels before it reaches to the Chief Executive.

Lacson was reacting to the camp of presidential candidate Leni Robredo which questioned the information revealed by President Duterte about the supposed “collusion” between the “Dilawan” and communist groups that is out to create violence in the days leading to the May 9 polls.

“Lahat na lang kinuwestyon nila, ano lahat mali, sila lang ang tama,” Lacson said in a press conference here.

Over the weekend, President Duterte expressed concern over a supposed “collusion” between communist groups and the opposition saying he will not tolerate any form of violence going to the May 9 national and local elections.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CCP), however, denied talks of a “coalition government between them and any of the presidential candidates.”

Former senator Antonio Trillanes has challenged Duterte and Lacson to identify the alleged communist personalities who are allegedly part of the presidential bid of Vice President Robredo.

Robredo’s camp claimed that Lacson had red-tagged their supporters who attended their grand rally in Gen. Trias, Cavite when the senator said there were members of the communist group seen in the area that time.

The Partido Reporma presidential bet said he never red-tagged anybody but only expressed worries that the “enemies” could have infiltrated Robredo’s camp.

Lacson said he maintained his intelligence report about the presence of communist personalities in Robredo’s grand rally and his worries that this alliance will come into picture beyond the elections in case of a Robredo win.

“What if may alliance, papasok na naman ang NPA (New People’s Army), ang ganda na ng gains, ang laki na ng nabawas sa regular organizations,” Lacson said.

And while Trillanes claimed he never noticed any CPP-NPA members in attendance during the Cavite rally, Lacson said his intelligence report proved otherwise.

Lacson’s info was somehow validated with the confirmation coming from no less than Jeffrey Celis or “Ka Eric”, a former cadre of the NPA who surrendered to the government.

Not only that, Ret. Col. Hector Tarrazona happened to inform former Justice Antonio Carpio of 1Sambayan that the Robredo’s group may have been infiltrated before President Duterte gave a warning to the “Dilawans” about their supposed “collusion,” with the CPP citing intel reports.

“Ako ang pinanggalingan ko personal experience ko, nagtataka ako bakit malalakas ang armas ng NPA. . . masama experience dahil ang tinitingnan ko limang dekada may insurgency problem tayo, kelan pa natin tatapusin ang problema sa insurgency, ang ganda na ng momentum,” Lacson said.

He added; “I will maintain my intel report, pati report ni Presidente, paano pa natin matatawaran yun,”?. .
