Laborer nabbed for gun, ammo in Batangas
A 44-YEAR-OLD worker the other day was arrested by the authorities after serving a search warrant and seized the gun and ammo at his home in Bgy. Biga, Calatagan, Batangas.
Calatagan Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief Maj. Serafin T. Capunuan said the suspect was collared in his residence at Bgy. Biga, Calatagan.
Case investigators PSSgs. Dennis H. Mira and Angelo V. Barcelon said around 5:30 a.m., the Calatagan MPS led by P/Lt. Ronald De Villa, Batangas Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), led by P/Maj. Alfonso Saligumba III, 2nd Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and 2nd Batangas Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) implemented a search warrant issued and signed by Executive Judge Carolina F. De Jesus of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Balayan, Batangas dated May 30, against the suspect.
Authorities recovered one cal. .38 revolver loaded with five live ammunition, one black gun holster, and a color black coin purse containing nine live bullets for cal. .38 at the scene.
