Kick off campaign rally of Team Kaya This postponed
CONCERNED Pasig residents have hit the denial of access to a public venue to top rating mayoral candidate Sara Discaya, to launch her campaign activities, as the campaign period for local candidates kicks off on March 28, for the May 12 Midterm Elections.
The “Team Kaya This” has applied a permission from the Pasig city hall to hold their campaign kick-off on March 28 at Plaza Rizal.
The request has been approved and can be found in the special permit; however, the designated venue is Caruncho Avenue, a heavily trafficked street that acts as a main thoroughfare, instead of Plaza Rizal. This could cause traffic disruptions, which could negatively impact the public, especially the local residents.
The people of Pasig the kick-off campaign venue of “Team Kaya This” would create heavy traffic on Caruncho Avenue.
Eventually, Discaya would be blamed for the traffic.
Supporters of Discaya have decided that “Team Kaya This” will postpone the kick-off campaign to another day to avoid disrupting the public.
“Team Kaya This” is focused on offering support and solutions to the diverse problems in Pasig, working towards community improvement instead of causing trouble as alleged by the rival group, according to Discaya supporters.
