Jodi at Pampi annulled na
Officially single na si Jodi Sta. Maria dahil finally ay annulled na ang kasal nila ni Panfilo “Pampi” Lacson Jr.
Inanunsyo ito ng aktres sa mahabang Instagram post kahapon.
Aniya, 13 years din ang kanyang hinintay para ma-grant ang annulment.
“Finally after 13 years of waiting, my petition for nullity of marriage has been granted by the Supreme Court.
“It was indeed a test of faith and trust — FAITH in God’s promises and TRUST in God’s timing,” simula ng pahayag ni Jodi.
Inamin niya na hindi naging madali para sa kanya ang journey ng annulment process for 13 years at umabot pa sa puntong nagtampo siya kay God.
“The time I spent in His waiting room was never easy nor was it comfortable. It was frustrating, discouraging, and even heartbreaking. I cried, prayed, questioned and complained. I made ‘tampo,’ asked for forgiveness, prayed some more. I wanted to give up but He never let go of me.
“Looking back it was His grace that sustained and carried me. He had a purpose for the waiting. And that was made clear to me by the Lord,” aniya.
Kaya naman ipinagpapasalamat din ng aktres na talagang kumapit at nagtiwala siya sa plano ni Lord for her.
“God is never in a hurry. He is never too late. Never too early. Believe He is able to do something about your situation. Trust He has a plan for you and that plan is even better than the one you have for yourself.
“And when God finally calls you out of the waiting room, don’t forget to thank Him and give Him all the glory,” saad ng aktres.
Nagpasalamat din si Jodi sa lahat ng mga taong nakasama at tumulong sa kanya sa mahabang proseso ng annulment case.
“Before I end this already lengthy post, please allow me to thank the people who were with me on this journey. My prayer warriors you guys know who you are – salamat for standing with me in prayer. And to my lawyer and friend, @conniejaquino of Calleja Law Office for the guidance, patience, and friendship. Thank you for never giving up on my case,” ang mensahe ni Jodi.
“Now I can finally say… CASE CLOSED,” ang pagtatapos ng aktres.
Matatandaan na ikinasal sina Jodi at Pampi noong 2005. Mayroon silang isang anak, si Thirdy.
Taong 2011 nang maghiwalay sila at ngayon ay may sari-sarili nang buhay.
Pampi is happy with current partner Iwa Moto. Mayroon silang dalawang anak. Maayos din ang relasyon nila sa mag-inang Jodi at Thirdy. In fact, isa sila sa mga maituturing na blended families sa showbiz.
Si Jodi naman ay napapabalitang karelasyon si Raymart Santiago although wala pang opisyal na pag-amin mula sa kanilang dalawa.
Sa kabilang banda, hindi pa annulled ang kasal ni Raymart kay Claudine Barretto.
