Jesus Is Lord Church commended on 46th anniversary: ‘Serbisyo sa tao, serbisyo sa Diyos!’
SENATOR Christopher “Bong” Go delivered a co-sponsorship speech before the Senate plenary on Wednesday, September 25, commending the Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Church Worldwide for its significant role in uplifting communities, as the religious organization marked its 46th founding anniversary.
In his speech, Go expressed gratitude to the church’s founder, Pastor Eddie Villanueva, for his untiring efforts to spreading the Gospel and acknowledged the contribution of the church’s leaders and pastors in furthering this mission.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to its visionary founder, Pastor Eddie Villanueva, who devoted his life to sharing the Gospel of the Lord, together with his dedicated pastors and leaders who have been instrumental in this mission,” said Go.
Go also congratulated his colleague, Senator Joel Villanueva, who is a prominent figure within the JIL Church, for the milestone achievement.
Beyond its religious impact, the JIL Church has consistently been at the forefront of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged Filipinos.
Go highlighted the church’s commitment to poverty alleviation and educational support, stating, “The Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide is not only dedicated to spreading the Word of God but is also committed to improving the lives of our less fortunate kababayans. Marami pong natutulungan ang Jesus Is Lord Church.”
Go, a witness to the church’s efforts, also praised the JIL Church for its valuable role in fostering community development and providing spiritual and moral guidance.
“Its contributions have had a profound impact on our nation, reflecting a steadfast commitment to both faith and societal progress. Ako po’y witness nito mismo. Sa ibang bansa napakadami pong miyembro po ng Jesus Is Lord Church,” Go shared.
As the JIL Church marks its 46th year, Go expressed his well-wishes, hoping for the continued success of the church in its mission to serve both faith and society. “As we celebrate this milestone, I join in wishing the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide a joyous 46th anniversary and continued success in its mission.”
Go further emphasized his personal philosophy: “Patuloy kaming magseserbisyo sa inyo dahil bisyo ko ang magserbisyo at ako ay naniniwala na ang serbisyo sa tao ay serbisyo ‘yan sa Panginoon, serbisyo ‘yan kay Allah.”
