Post ni Direk Ice sa socmed kahapon: “Parang mga ten thousand times ko na napanood yung performance ni Celine Dion sa Olympics. Kahit di ko pa napanood yung docu niya (which is intentional dahil hindi ko kayang panoorin), I closely followed the news about her.
“Knowing what she’s been through (and still going through), seeing her performance deserves all the praise. What a feat! She’s always owned any stage she’s been on pero iba tong na witness ko na command niya. It felt like it was coming from a power deep within. A source no one, nor any illness, can ever touch. She shone brighter than a phoenix.

“All of you have been so focused on your dream, and whether or not you take home a medal, I hope that being here means that it has come true for you! You should all be so proud, we know how hard you have worked to be the best of the best. Stay focused, keep going, my heart is with you!”
