HOPE IS HERE
A 77-year-old beneficiary of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in Albay hugs Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon, thanking him for the PRC’s relief efforts in Brgy. Buga, Libon since humanitarian aid seldom reaches their area. On October 30, a PRC delegation led by Gordon and PRC Secretary General Dr. Gwen Pang visited evacuation centers in Albay and Camarines Sur to give much-needed relief packs to residents affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine. Nearly 2,000 families or 7,000 individuals in Albay and Camarines Sur were given relief packs in the one-day distribution alone.
