Home delivery of license plates, driver’s license
THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) will end the traditional long lines and endless waiting for every transaction with the introduction – home delivery service of license plates and driver’s licenses to all its clients.
LTO chief Asst. Secretary Vigor Mendoza II said that the agency will soon start the home delivery service with the use of digital technology as instructed by President Marcos Jr. through Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon.
Dubbed as the LTOTracker, the new technology provides access to the agency clients that will track the status of their transactions in real time and have them delivered straight to their doorsteps through an accredited courier service provider.
Sec. Dizon said that the system, which ensures a more organized and efficient process at every LTO office, is seen to do away with the old and usual “line up and wait” practice.
