Imelda4Imelda5THROUGH this column, ideal couple Ochie and Tony Corrales want to wish their dear friend Imelda Patani a happiest and most blessed 65th birthday.

Ochie proudly shares that the celebrant was named after former First Lady Imelda Marcos, and thus has imbibed the ex-FL’s success, longevity, happiness as well as loyal family and friends, among other blessings.

Imelda Patani was born in Batac, Ilocos Norte and is the youngest of seven siblings. She is blissfully married to Engr. Roger Patani. A source of pride is only son Rommel Patani.

For her latest milestone, Imelda’s sister Victoria Cabarles flew all the way from the Philippines to celebrate with her.

Sharing the love were eldest brother Tony with wife Linda, brother Jorge from Oklahoma with wife Gie, youngest brother from San Marcos Ca Cresing with wife Imelda, cousins from Chicago, nephews and nieces.

Best buddy Ochie gave Imelda a heartfelt wish: a lifetime of joy, good health and happiness.

Imelda loves to shop and travel — activities that are golden fruits of her hard-earned success and fruitful career. She migrated to the United States in the early 1980s and worked with Thermo Fisher for 30 years.

Following retirement two to three years back, Imelda now spends precious time with family, friends and grandson Jacob.

The name Imelda is of German, Spanish and Italian origin which means ‘warrior woman.’

Like her famous namesake, Imelda Patani has fully lived up to the meaning of her moniker. Throughout her 65 years, her inner strength and determination to hurdle life’s challenges have been sources of inspiration to countless others.

Imelda’s clan and chums, Ochie and Tony, and the rest of her grace-filled circle send this birthday message from their hearts: “May this corner be a fitting tribute to you.

We love you!”
