Hacking leaves pregnant woman dead, mother seriously wounded
A YOUNG pregnant woman was killed while her mother is in serious condition following a hacking incident in Aroroy, Masbate.
The victim was identified as Reyna Tugbo, 22.
An investigation showed prior to the hack attack, Tugbo heard her 42-year-old mother and the latter’s 27-year-old live-in-partner quarreling in the “couple’s” house in Purok Baybay, Bgy. Puro, Aroroy town.
The victim entered the house in an attempt to pacify the two when she saw the suspect hacking her mother.
Tugbo ran for her life but was chased by the suspect, who hacked her in the neck and face. She died on the spot.
The suspect fled after the incident.
An investigation showed jealousy triggered the hacking.
