GOING LOCAL!
Deputy Minority Leader and Basilan Rep. Mujiv Hataman filed his Certificate of Candidacy to seek the governorship of the Province of Basilan. He is joined by his running mate, vice gubernatorial candidate Alzad Sattar, a well-respected scholar and religious leader in the province, and Maluso Mayor Hanie Bud, whom Hataman endorses to succeed him as Basilan’s congressman. Cong. Hataman is running under the Liberal Party (LP) and the local Basilan Unity Party (BUP) in the 2025 elections.
