BAGUIO CITY now allows entry of tourists who are fully-vaccinated against the dreaded coronavirus disease-19.

In a Facebook post, the Baguio Tourism Office said tourists should only present their vaccination cards or certificates.

It said the certificates could serve as an alternative to a negative COVID-19 test result.

According to the local tourism office, vaccinated tourists will have to pre-register at visita.baguio.gov.ph, secure a QR-coded Tourist Pass, and undergo a mandatory triage upon arrival in the city.

The local government, however, clarified that only tourists from General Community Quarantine and Modified General Community Quarantine areas will be allowed entry in the city.

Tourists are reminded to still strictly observe the health protocols such as wearing of face mask and face shield and practice physical distancing.
