
Female firefighter nabbed for carnapping in Malolos City
A WOMAN firefighter wanted for carnapping was arrested on Sunday in Malolos City, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Bulacan police director Col. Franklin Estoro identified the suspect as alias “Jorie,” 28, a member of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), residing in Calauan, Laguna.
A tracker team of the Malolos City police served a warrant of arrest on the suspect for violation of New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 or RA 10883 issued by Branch 45, First Judicial Region of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan dated March 15, 2024 and violation of the Anti- Bouncing Checks Law of 1979 issued by Branch 58, National Capital Judicial Region, San Juan City, Bulacan on September 15, 2023.
The accused is now under the custody of the Malolos City police.
