Ex-seaman murder in Malate caught on CCTV
A FORMER seaman was killed by a still unidentified gunman who shot him while he was walking along a street in Malate, Manila Sunday night.
Dead on arrival at the hospital was victim John Carlo Estember, 25, of Singalong Street, Malate.
Police said the incident occurres at 7 p.m. while he was walking along Angel Linao Street in Malate.
The suspect blocked his path and shot him in the body in the presence of several witnesses. The incident was also caught on the barangay’s CCTV.
Authorities remain blank as to the identity and motive of the gunman, especially since the victim had no known enemies.
