AS part of the 72nd Founding Anniversary and Grand Alumni Homecoming of the Eulogio Rodriguez, Jr. High School on Feb. 23-25, the ERJHS Alumni Sports Club will host its first-ever 3X3 basketball tournament at the Barangay N. Amoranto covered court in Malaya St., Quezon City.

A total of 12 alumni teams are expected to participate in the two-day competition patterned after the highly-successful FIBA 3X3 tournaments being held all over the world.

ERJHS ASC Basketball Committee chairman Albert Andaya said the participating teams are required to field four players each — three regulars and one sub/alternate.

The teams will be divided into four groups, with the top teams advancing to the next round.

As per FIBA rules on 3×3 basketball, there will be 10-minute game with 12-second shot clock. Game will be over at 21 pointds and the first team to getwo points in overtime wins the game.

Among the early list of participants are T2000 (Jerome Nell, Mark Louie Caguisa, Jefferson Caguisa and Cris Santiago); Batch 88 (Mike Gomez, Voltaire Penaga, Jojo Navera and Adonis Geolin); Batch 89 (Jonn Cano, Alvin Tanare, Benjamin Baet and Regino Silva) and Batch 94 ( Wilson Punzal, Allen Gonzales, Raffy Custodio and Romeo Baez).
