Ekonomiya ng Pilipinas palalakasin ng US, Japan

TUTULUNGAN ng Amerika at Japan na palakasin ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas.

Ginawa ng dalawang bansa ang pahayag sa trilateral meeting nina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., US President Joe Biden at Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida sa Washington sa Amerika.

Inanunsyo ng tatlong lider ang pagsasagawa ng Presidential Trade and Investment Mission sa Pilipinas ng mahigit $1 bilyong US private sector investments.

Pagsuporta ito sa innovation economy at clean energy transition ng Pilipinas.

Layunin din ng proyekto na maitaguyod ang supply chain pati na ang pagpapalakas sa private sector investment.

Ikinalugod din ni Pangulong Marcos ang Official Development Assistance (ODA) at private sector investment ng Japan na umabot sa JPY 600 bilyon noong 2023 Japan-Philippines Joint Statement.

“We welcome the first trilateral commerce and industry ministers’ meeting that took place earlier today to advance our shared agenda. Our three nations commit to facilitating the steady implementation of ongoing and future economic cooperation projects toward the Philippines’ attainment of upper middle income country status and beyond,” saad ng joint statement.

“We express concern over and strongly oppose economic coercion, stress the importance of a rules-based economic order, and underscore the need for close coordination in dealing with economic coercion,” saad ng joint statement.
