Ecija top cop leads men in symbolic ‘forced march’

GENERAL TINIO, Nueva Ecija – Nueva Ecija police chief Col. Ferdinand D. Germino on Friday led his men in a “symbolic march” that aims to instill in the police the true values of solidarity, discipline, strength, and dedication in its over-all mission for a safe,peaceful, clean and secure midterm polls on May 12, 2025 in the province.

The event was a one-hour 8.4-kilometer march that started 3 p.m. at the Pias Bridge and ended at the headquarters of the 21st Special Action Force in this town.

Among those who joined the activity were police personnel from the 21st SAC SAF, RMFB, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), 2nd PMFC, the towns of General Tinio, Peñaranda, Gapan City, Cabiao, San Leonardo, San Antonio, Pantabangan, Gen. Natividad, San Jose City, Sta. Rosa, and Jaen.

“Beyond physical resilience, this activity aimed to strengthen the body and discipline, promote peace and security awareness, and foster a deeper connection between law enforcers and the community in preparation to the incoming 2025 National and Local Elections,” said Germino.

Centering on the theme: “Kapayapaan sa Bawat Hakbang Para sa Maayor as Ligtas na Halalan 2025,” Germino added that his office continues to highlight the importance of unity, discipline, and active community engagement in maintaining peace and security in the province, in line with the plans and programs of Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo.
