DTI, PHILASA palalakasin PH architectural education
NAGKASUNDO ang Department of Trade and Industry at Philippine Architecture Schools Association Inc. (PHILASA) na palakasin pa ang practical application sa architectural education sa bansa.
Ito ay matapos maselyuhan ng DTI at PHILASA ang memorandum of understanding (MOU).
“This collaboration seeks to integrate CIAP Document 102—Uniform General Conditions of Contract for Private Construction—into the syllabi of contract-related courses as reference material or an added learning objective. By doing so, the partnership intends to bridge the gap between institutional learning and on-site construction practices,” pahayag ng DTI.
Layunin ng kasunduan na magkaroon ng malinaw na understanding of contractual rights, obligations, at industry standards, na mahalaga sa project supervision, monitoring, at management sa construction industry.
This initiative underscores the shared goal of both organizations to equip architecture students with the professional skills and knowledge necessary for success,” pahayag ng DTI.
Ayon sa DTI, key component sa MOU ang probisyon sa technical training sa construction contracts sa mga miyembro, instructors, at professors na nagtuturo ng architecture at engineering courses.
Dahil sa training mabibigyan ng sapat na kaalaman ang mga educators para epektibong maibahagi ang industry-relevant knowledge sa mga estudyante.
