CABANATUAN CITY — The Department of Trade and Industry in Nueva Ecija has announced that they are targeting to collect at least P4 million in sales from the province’s 20 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that are joining this year’s five-day “Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair” (LCL-TF) at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City from October 25 until October29.

Dr. Richard Simangan, NE DTI chief, said at least 20 MSMEs with 10 each for food and non-food businesses from the province are participating in the annual trade fair at SM Megamall and will try to surpass its total sales for the same event that was held last year.

“Target ng DTI-Nueva Ecija na maabot o malampasan ngayong taon ang naging benta ng ating MSMEs na inabot ng higit tatlong milyong piso sa ginanap na trade fair last year,” said Simangan.

In setting the target sales, the DTI official said there are many factors to be considered, which include the ill effects of the pandemic.

Simangan also stressed that MSMEs would benefit from joining the LCL Trade Fair as their products would stand to gain a higher market exposure.

He added that products from Nueva Ecija are being looked forward to by bulk buyers already.

It was reported by the Central Luzon DTI headed by OIC-regional director Brigida T. Pili that a total of 169 MSMEs from the region are showcasing their products for the holding of the 25th edition of the upcoming LCL Trade Fair.
