INNILUNGSAD ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang bagong slogan ng Pilipinas para sa turismo.

Ang “Love the Philippines” ang ipinalit sa “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”

Inilungsad ang bagong slogan sa ika-50 anibersaryo ng DOT sa Manila Hotel.

“Love the Philippines goes to the heart of every single Filipino with the distinct grace and hospitality with which we welcome every guests that comes to our shores, our communities and our homes,” ani Tourism Secretary Christina G. Frasco sa kanyang speech.

Sinabi ni Frasco na marami pang maibibigay ang Pilipinas bukod sa “fun” at “adventure” at ito umano ang ipinapabatid ng bagong slogan.

“There is so much more to the Philippines than the fun and adventure that we have so far articulated to the world for the Philippines is a powerhouse of mega biodiversity being only one of the 18 mega diverse countries in the world,” sabi ng kalihim.

Ang “Love the Philippines” slogan ay pagkilala umano sa natural na yaman, mahabang kasaysayan, at mayamang kultura ng bansa.

Ang “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” ay ginamit ng DOT noong 2012.
