Decomposing, half-naked woman found inside black bag in Ecija
Nueva Ecija – A dead half-naked woman stuffed inside a garbage bag was accidentally found by a barangay tanod here on Saturday morning.
Police said barangay tanod Hernando Caparas, 41, of Bgy. Casile was cleaning the road of the barangay at 10:15 a.m. when he noticed a foul-smelling black garbage bag on the road shoulder.
Caparas then reported the incident to the barangay captain, who called up the police for assistance.
Lawmen opened up the black bag and saw inside a woman, described as of medium built and was already in an advanced state of decomposition.
Police said the unidentified woman was about 35-40 years old, and was wearing black-colored short pants and bra. Police immediately secured and cordoned off the area and called up the Scene of the Crime Operatives to process the crime scene.
