Isa rin pala sa celebrities na nagbabalik sa politika si Marjorie Barretto.

Nag-file na siya ng kanyang certificate of candidacy dahil tatakbo siyang councilor ng Caloocan sa 2025 elections.

Ipinost ng dating aktres ang mga larawan niya matapos siyang mag-file ng kanyang CoC at aniya, matagal niyang pinag-isipan ang muling pagpasok sa politika.

Matatandaan na naging konsehal si Marjorie ng ikalawang distrito ng Caloocan City noong 2007-2013.

“After a lot of thought, prayers and clear signs, i filed my COC for City Councilor yesterday under #TeamAksyonAtMalasakit,” ang anunsyo ni Marjorie sa kanyang IG.

“These past few months has been quite a journey… the thought of going back to public service after more than 10 years has been challenging, terrifying and exciting.

“Grateful to Mayor Along Malapitan and Congressman Oca Malapitan for their trust and confidence in me. I have gained a renewed sense of purpose,” pahayag pa ni Marjorie.

Sa comment section ay binati siya ng mga kaibigang sina Mariel Rodriguez, Aiko Melendez at iba pang celebs.

“Sooooo proud of you mommy marj!!! If i were registered in Caloocan i would DEFINITELY vote for you!!! In a heartbeat . supporting you and praying for you mommy marj!!!!” sabi ni Mariel.

“Yay!!! Finally. Congratulations,” sey naman ni Aiko.

“Behind you all the way!” sabi naman ng anak niyang si Dani Barretto.
