
Courts in Isabela, other ‘Florita’-hit areas suspend work
THE Supreme Court yesterday suspended court work in some Northern Luzon provinces and other areas due to the onslaught of tropical storm “Florita.”
Suspended were the Regional Trial Courts and Municipal Trial Courts in Cities in Santiago City, Isabela; Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Cordon-Dinapigue, Isabela, and in Ramon-San Isidro, Isabela.
Likewise, the High Court suspended work in all courts in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, and the Hall of Justice in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Yesterday afternoon, work in the Hall of Justice of San Mateo, Rizal and the Municipal Trial Court of Montalban, Rizal were also suspended.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration warned the public against widespread flooding and rain-induced landslides, especially in low-lying areas, as the storm barreled towards Northern Luzon.
