‘CIA with BA’ gets Best Talk Show nomination
CIA with BA is among the finalists at the 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) for the Best Talk Show category.
Led by sibling Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano and award-winning host Boy Abunda, this marks the public service program’s first nomination in any award-giving body since it premiered in February this year.
As CIA with BA continues the legacy of the late Senator Rene Cayetano, Alan, Pia and producers from Infinite Monkeys Digital PR and Communications, Inc. also celebrate the nomination bagged by Compañero: Remembering Sen. Rene Cayetano (Christmas Special) as Best TV Special at CMMA.
“Alam kong pinapanood tayo ni Daddy at ang palaging habilin niya at palagi nating sinasabi sa tuwing natatapos ang show, ‘wag magpaapi, alamin ang batas,” said Pia in its recent episode wherein Sen. Alan also celebrated his 53rd birthday with co-hosts, family and studio audience.
For his part, Alan reminded viewers of the show: “Kung may legal na kaalaman, mas mailalaban ang karapatan.”
“Du’n po tayo sa tama dahil sa batas, wala tayong kawala,” Abunda added.
Through the years, CMMA’s goal is to promote a values-filled mass media in various communication fields such as television, radio, print, advertising, music and more.
“Every finalist has proven their dedication to delivering excellence in their respective fields,” said the organization as it announced the list of nominees.
