CHOCO Mucho eyes a piece of second place as it plays Nxled today in the Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena.

The Flying Titans, who have not yielded a single set since dropping their conference opener, are looking to extend their winning run to four matches in the 2 p.m. duel with the Chameleons.

In other fixtures, F2 Logistics takes on Farm Fresh at 4 p.m., while Cignal tangles with Galeries Tower at 6 p.m.

Creamline remains the only undefeated club with a 4-0 record, while PetroGazz, PLDT and Chery Tiggo are locked in a three-way tie in second spot at 4-1. The Crossovers dealt the Angels their first loss of the tournament with a four-set win last Saturday.

Despite losing Des Cheng to a season-ending ACL injury, Choco Mucho was able to stay at the upper half of the standings with a 3-1 record.

After bowing to the Cool Smashers in four set in the season-ending conference’s inaugurals last Oct. 15, the Flying Titans toppled the Foxies, the HD Spikers and the Highrisers in succession.

Ranged against a Nxled side which has lost three straight after an opening day win over Gerflor, Choco Mucho knows that it needs to maintain its high level of play.

“Lagi lang akong nagre-remind sa kanila na huwag silang magsawa sa ginagawa namin. Basta i-continue lang namin kung ano yung sistema na ginagawa sa training then sigurado pagdating sa game, same result yung kinalalabasan,” said Flying Titans coach Dante Alinsunurin.

Sporting similar 2-2 records, the Cargo Movers and the HD Spikers are going all out for the victory to stay within the top four range.

F2 Logistics seeks to rebound from a 22-25, 25-27, 14-25 loss to PetroGazz in Santa Rosa last Thursday, while Cignal is eyeing a follow up from last Saturday’s 25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17 conquest of Farm Fresh.

The Foxies and the Highrisers hope not to be discouraged with their winless records, as the two clubs are raring to go all-out to secure the elusive breakthrough.
