ZAMBALES— Millennial senatorial candidate Camille Villar barnstormed Zambales on Monday, swinging by Castillejos, Iba, Olongapo and key towns here.

In her meeting with various sectors from the senior citizens, socio-civic groups and the youth, Camille Villar emphasized the cooperation between the national government and local governments in making sure that various needs of every province are met.

Reelectionist Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane, Jr., Zambales Rep. Jay Khonghun, Mayor Jeff Khonghun and Vice Mayor Christian Esposo and local officials warmly welcomed Camille Villar during her sorties in the province.

In endorsing Camille Villar’s senatorial bid, Ebdane noted how the Villars have consistently helped the province in various infrastructure and agriculture projects.

“May mga kandidato at kandidata tayo sa Senate. Pero dito, isa lang ang kandidata natin,” Ebdane said, referring to Camille Villar who is the youngest senatorial candidate at 40.

“Huwag ninyo kalimutan.. Ito ang masarap, kahit pagod ka na, nawawala ang pagod,” the governor added as candidates campaigned under the sweltering summer heat.

“Huwag ninyo kalimutan ang mga taong nakatulong sa inyo,” said Ebdane.

Ebdane advised his constituents to choose the right person, who’d really look after the welfare of the Filipinos.

In an activity dubbed as RICEUP in Iba, Camille Villar also noted the importance of providing agribusiness trainings among farmers, and fisherfolks.

Such trainings would provide more productive outputs to farmers and fisherfolks, underscoring one’s attitude of “sipag at tiyaga” (hardwork and perseverance) in succeeding in life, added Camille Villar.

Camille Villar also met with senior citizens and vowed to look after their welfare during the assembly led by Mayor Rolen Paulino, Jr. at SMX Olongapo.
