CAMP VICENTE LIM, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna –-The Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) headed by Regional Director Brig. Gen. Carlito M. Gaces yesterday convened the 2nd Regional Joint Security Control Center Command Conference in this camp in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

Among those who attended the confab were attorney Monalisa C. Mamukid, Regional Election Director 4A; attorney Margaret Joyce M. Reyes-Cortez, Assistant Regional Election Director of Comelec Region 4A; Lt. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento, commander of the Area Police Command, Southern Luzon; and Maj. Gen. Roberto Capulong, commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army.

Discussed during the meeting were steps on how to address threat, security and deployment plans, and the latest updates from the Comelec, which played a vital role in ensuring the security and success of the upcoming BSKE elections.

Gaces urged all agencies present in the meeting to help ensure a seamless, peaceful, and successful Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

“Let us unite and work together towards an orderly, peaceful, and successful election. I urge each and every one present to uphold your unwavering commitment to our shared goal. Let us remain vigilant, foresee any potential challenges, and stand strong in our unwavering response to any threats that may arise during this critical election period,” the Calabarzon top cop said.

The conference concluded on an inspiring note of unity and collaboration, with all participants reaffirming their steadfast dedication to upholding the integrity of the upcoming elections and safeguarding the well-being of both voters and candidates.
