Bulacan cops seize illegal drugs, guns; 16 fall in anti-crime ops

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – Over P200,000 worth of illegal drugs and two firearms were seized, and 16 drug suspects were arrested on Friday in intensified operations by the Bulacan PNP (Philippine National Police).

Bulacan Police Director Col. Relly Arrnedo said at least P132,000 worth of dried marijuana and bust money was recovered from a suspect in Barangay Bulihan, Malolos City.

He said the entrapment operation by the CSJDM (City of San Jose Del Monte) Police led to the apprehension of three alleged drug dealers who yielded six sachets of shabu and buy-bust money. Authorities also confiscated a loaded .38 revolver from one of the suspects.

Bustos Police captured a suspect, alias “Joko,” and yielded four plastic sachets of shabu and a .38 revolver with live bullets.

Eleven more drug dealers were detained by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Balagtas, Plaridel, Calumpit, Angat, Norzagaray, Paombong, and San Rafael police in a series of buy-bust operations while 29 sachets of shabu and marked money were recovered.

PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen lauded the Bulacan cops for their unwavering anti-drug operations.
