Bulacan anti-crime ops net 9 drug suspects, 6 MWPs

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – In the stepped-up police operation on Monday, Bulacan cops arrested nine drug dealers and six most wanted persons (MWPs).

Bulacan Police Director Col. Relly Arnedo said two alleged drug “pushers,” both from Sta. Rita, Guiguinto were arrested in a buy-bust operation.

Recovered from them were five sachets of shabu and a loaded revolver.

Likewise, seven sachets of shabu and a sachet of marijuana were confiscated from two arrested drug peddlers in Caingin, Meycauayan City.

In Garlang, San Ildefonso, a suspect from Tigpalas, San Miguel, was arrested for the illegal drug trade, and 11 sachets plus a brick of dried marijuana leaves were seized.

Some seven sachets of illegal drugs were recovered from four suspects in entrapment operations conducted by the Hagonoy and Pandi police.

Meanwhile, manhunt operations by tracker teams of San Miguel, Guiguinto, and Meycauayan City, resulted in the arrest of three persons wanted for rape, homicide, and child abuse.

Warrant officers of the Sta. Maria and CSJDM police arrested three more wanted felons for various law violations by virtue of a warrant of arrest.

Arnedo said the Bulacan Police’s determination and relentless anti-drug campaign under the directive of PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen and in support of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) peace and security framework dubbed “Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran” (MKK = K).
