PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has filled in the last vacancy at the Court of Appeals (CA) with the appointment of the wife of DZRH broadcaster Angelo Palmones as magistrate.

In a transmittal letter signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, the newly appointed CA justice is Nancy Rivas-Palmones.

Palmones is the current Judge of the Valenzuela regional trial court before her appointment to the appeals court.

She was a former public prosecutor in the Quezon City before she entered the judiciary.

Palmones is the wife of former Partylist representative and veteran radio broadcaster Palmones.
