Bicol cops net 109 poll gun ban violators
BICOL policemen have already jailed 109 violators of the election gun ban in the region since last January 9 as part of its effort to prevent the possibility that illegal weapons may be used to commit crimes during the rest of the election period, Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5) Director Brigadier General Mario A. Reyes said on Friday. The PRO5 top cop said that the offenders were apprehended from January 9 to May 18 alone. By Alfred Dalizon
