‘Bagong Pilipinas’ rally
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. hopes to attain comprehensive policy reforms and full economic recovery.
Last year, Malacanang issued a memorandum ordering the adoption of the administration’s “Bagong Pilipinas” brand of governance.
The new brand of governance calls for a deep and fundamental transformation in all sectors of Philippine society and government.
In his New Year message, Marcos underscored the Filipino people’s role in attaining the objectives of the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign.
To drum up support for the “New Philippines” campaign, a kick-off rally will be held Sunday at the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park.
The kick-off rally will be graced by no less than President Marcos, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Aside from the Chief Executive from Ilocos Norte, other top government officials and celebrities would also attend the kick-off rally.
PCO said the rally begins at 6 p.m., but some of the top showbiz personalities would entertain the participants, starting at 3 p.m.
By spearheading the kick-off rally at the historic Rizal Park, the government is on track in instituting drastic changes and reforms.
It’s a move in the right direction which, in the view of various quarters, must be supported by all sectors of Philippine society.
