Army major’s house looted in Laguna

STILL unidentified thieves robbed the house of a Philippine Army Major Saturday in Bgy. Sta Clara Sur, Pila, Laguna.

Laguna OIC Provincial Director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, said robbed was Major John Paul Salgado, a military officer of assigned in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Police said that Salgado went to the Pila police station to complain about the robbery which occurred at about 10 a.m.

Initial investigation showed the suspects forcibly cut the steel window in the kitchen to enter the victim’s house.

When the victim got home with his wife after his tour of duty they noticed that the belongings in their Master bedroom were scattered.

Missing were a Bersa Thunder .380 Pistol, worth P 25,000; Fujifilm XT1 Camera worth P50,000; Olympus EM10ii Camera, P40,000;watch, P50,000.00; a CCTV Main Module, P15,000 and jewelry worth P10,000.
