
American lolo nabbed for child abuse in Angeles City
CAMP Olivas City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A 61-year-old American fugitive was arrested in a manhunt operation Wednesday in Angeles City.
Angeles City police commander Col. Rommel Batangan said his men arrested Nickolas Gabriel Pyant at his residence oat C10, Clarkview Residence on Atis St. corner Sampaguita St., Clarkview Subd., in Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.
Pyant has standing warrants of arrest for 18 counts of violation RA 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 as amended by RA 10364 or Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons and another 18 counts for violation of RA 7610 or Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act issued by Judge Gemma Theresa Hilario-Logronio of Olongapo City, Zambales dated Family Court.
“May this send a strong message to all those who continue to evade the law. Regardless of who you are, Central Luzon is not a sanctuary for fugitives and lawless elements,” De Leon said.
