ABC prexy, driver killed in Malolos ambush
THE Association of Barangay Captains-Bulacan president and his driver on Thursday were killed in an ambush on the service road in Bgy. Ligas, Malolos City, Bulacan.
The Bulacan police identified the fatalities as Ramil Capistrano, ABC president of Bulacan and a resident of Bgy. Caingin, San Rafael, Bulacan, and his driver Shedrick Suarez, of Bgy. Caingin, Malolos City also in Bulacan.
Initial probe showed the victims were traversing the service road on board their vehicle, a Mitsubishi Montero with plate no. CBZ6532, when the unidentified suspects appeared and fired shots at them, which resulted in their instantaneous death.
Police immediately launched a dragnet operation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
