DIG more into the past as controversial director Darryl Yap take us to the next chapter of the untold life story of the Marcoses in ‘Martyr or Murderer’ which is now showing in theaters nationwide.

In ‘Maid in Malacañang,’ the focus were on the maids who provided laughter and fun. In the sequel, the major characters take center stage. Shown are videos of Ferdinand and Imelda. Cory and Ninoy were featured. A series of flashbacks shows the unconventional way on how Ferdinand won the heart of Imelda amidst the cheering of the guests during a political event.

In one romantic moment, Ferdinand sung a love song to his beautiful wife.

The main issue of the film is who assassinated Benigno Aquino, Jr. which was answered with more questions, insinuations and speculations. One thing is sure though.. he was wearing a bullet proof vest which should have protected his body but not his head.

The original cast headed by Cesar Montano and Ruffa Gutierrez acted with care and competence. A big revelation is Isko Moreno with his convincing portrayal as Ninoy Aquino. It marks the rebirth of an actor.

Senator Imee Marcos hopes the moviegoers will support the film “dahil pinaghirapan namin ito and it is a lot better than the first”.
