73 Calamba public schools receive laptops, 420 coeds get educational aid

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Mayor Roseller ‘Ross’ Rizal led the distribution of laptops and printers to 73 public schools here on Friday, September 16, 2022.

The first batch of Predator laptops, Epson printers and office equipment for public elementary and secondary schools in Calamba was distributed at the building of the Department of Education, Division of Calamba as proof of Mayor Ross Rizal’s strong support to the education sector.

The event was attended by 73 principals from different schools who received the benefits from the Special Education Fund of the Local School Board led by the local chief executive as Chairman.

Mayor Ross said laptops, printers, and other office equipment are a big help to teachers and students especially now that the situation is gradually returning to normal.

The mayor vowed to continue to promote Education programs because he believes it is the foundation of a good future.

Meanwhile, 420 students received P3,000 each in educational assistance as part of the City Government’s Education program promoted by Mayor Ross on the morning of September 16 at the 3rd Floor Lobby of Calamba City Hall.

Mayor Ross led the distribution of the first batch of aid worth P1,260,000.

Mayor Ross said he is truly committed to strengthening the education sector city. He vowed to ensure the bright future of Kabataang Calembeños who will also play a major role in the continued development of the city.
