Over 800K Imuseños vaccinated vs COVID-19

IMUS CITY, Cavite – At least 872,580 Imus residents already received their COVID-19 jabs since the start of the vaccination program in April 2021, based on the latest data posted by the City Health Office here, Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

According to the record of the vaccination team of the local government, Imuseños continue to receive the vaccine against COVID-19 at the stationary vaccination site and health centers: Velarde Health Center, Bgy. Medicion I-C, Plaridel Health Center, Bgy. Bayan Luma VII, Greengate Health Center, Bgy. Malagasang II-A, and mobile vaccination in assigned villages.

In total, 333,039 individuals received their first dose and 356,080 received their second dose. While only 162,337 received their first booster dose while 21,124 received the second booster dose amid the intensified “PinasLakas” booster drive of the Department of Health (DOH).

“Mataas man ang bilang ng mga nagpapabakuna sa Lungsod ng Imus, mainam pa rin na updated ang COVID-19 vaccine para sa tuloy-tuloy na karagdagang proteksiyon sa kalusugan at maiwasan ang malubhang epekto sa katawan ng nakamamatay na sakit,” Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula said.

Residents can get vaccinated from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m from the said vax sites. They must bring a valid government ID, vaccination record or card (for those who received the 1st dose, 2nd dose, and 1st booster dose), Parent’s or guardian’s valid government ID (for pediatric population or ages 5 to 17 years old), and medical certificate (for A3 category) persons with disabilities.

The rotation of #LamangAngMayBakuna Mobile Vaccination also continues in various barangays in Imus.

There are 109 active Cases, nine new positive cases, 28,216 total confirmed cases, and with 27,577 total confirmed recoveries based on the latest COVID-19 census for Imus City, (Sept. 12, 2022) including the total confirmed deaths at 530 and barangays with an active case with 48.
