Sandro leads in congressional race
FERDINAND Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, son of residential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos Jr. has kept his huge lead in the congressional race in Ilocos Norte, favored by a majority of respondents in this month’s RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) survey.
Based on the latest survey, Sandro, who is running for the congressional seat of Ilocos Norte’s first district, currently leads the race with a 65% voter preference.
He is 33 points ahead of incumbent Congresswoman Ria Farinas as she only received 32% voter preference. The three percent remain undecided.
Sandro also came up on top of RPMD’s survey conducted last April 17-21, 2022, with 62% voter preference. He is expected to go up against Farinas the current representative of the province’s first district.
This is the first time Sandro Marcos is seeking a political post.
The survey was conducted independently and without commission from April 28 to May 2, 2022 with 1,000 registered voters with a margin of error of 3% (+/-).
